Selenis and Velor Cycling Join European Circular Textile Coalition

We are proud to share that Selenis and Velor Cycling have officially joined the European Circular Textile Coalition, further strengthening our collective ability to accelerate a fully circular textile economy across Europe.

The coalition was created to respond to one of the most urgent challenges facing the sector today: textile waste.

Each year, millions of tonnes of textile waste are generated in Europe every year, yet only a fraction is cycled back into new garments through true textile-to-textile recycling. The coalition's mission is clear: transform this waste into feedstock for European manufacturing and build a system where textiles never become waste in the first place.

Selenis and Velor Cycling bring critical strengths to that mission.

Together, Selenis and Velor Cycling expand the coalition’s ability to act across the whole value chain — from feedstock regeneration to finished apparel. This diversity of expertise strengthens the coalition’s role as a unified industry voice able to advise and partner with EU policymakers, regulators, and investors on the infrastructure and standards needed to make circularity the new normal.

As the coalition moves forward, we will continue working collectively to advocate for:

  • Large-scale European textile-to-textile recycling capacity
  • High-quality regeneration of textile-derived feedstock (not downcycled material from other sectors)
  • Mandatory recycled content to create stable, long-term market demand
  • A competitive and resilient European textile value chain built around circularity

For Reju, this coalition is not symbolic. It’s operational. The industrial infrastructure we are building, including our Regeneration Hubs, is only truly impactful when paired with partners across the chain, who are equally committed to high-quality circular outcomes. Selenis and Velor Cycling embody that commitment.
